It's a super welcome addition to our home!
So many uses for this fridge -we found out being able to control temp and humidity is great for not only dry aging beef but curing your own salami and dried ham, storing humidity sensitive cheeses, ci... gars, wine, etc etc. I originally wanted this to dry age beef which we do but we found a lot of uses for this during the "other" times. We have ours built into our island but it would look sharp sitting out anywhere - especially with the dim blue glow.. We had the original model and since have upgraded to the new tankless model giving us more interior space and no need to check water levels in the tank. Nadia and Claus have been very helpful with my questions and support since the first unit arrived no matter how many times I reach out!
Steak Locker Home Dry Age Fridge
My brother and I have bought the Steak Locker Home model in mid 2020 to start dry aging mostly beef and testing some salami recipes. I can confidently say that the Steak Locker is an impressive smart ... dry aging fridge that lives up to its promises. It is incredibly easy to use, with simple controls and a cool design that looks great in our downstairs kitchen. It is worth noting that it feels solid and well-made, has no plastic parts and is easy to clean. The wifi takes a little to connect but once we got it up and running it is very useful. We had a few missed tries with the salami but now have figured out how to balance the recipe. One issue of complaint could be the blue light, we wanted a white light. Well worth the investment.
The best way to tell if the UV Light works is to open the door and hold the switch in the lower left side of the frame down. This will deactivate the UV light and the fan... s on the back wall as they turn off when the door is opened. You may have to toggle the UV Light switch on or off to make sure it's not working. Hi Anthony, All fatty fish can be dry aged. Generally the whole fish is aged skin on, with salmon and tuna being the most popular. Depending on the size of the fish, the ... dry aging time frame is between 10-20 days max and 35F / 70% on temperature and humidity. Always best to hang from the hanging bar available in our SL150 Home and SL520 Pro Edition lockers. Happy to have Chef Claus call you and provide further details, please let us know

The SL150 Home Edition and the SL100 Studio Edition both only come with the door hinge located on the right side if you're facing ... the locker and the handle on the left side. The SL520 Pro Edition have the option for the hinge or handle to be on either side and you can request a specific side. As a cattle rancher and professional hunter my life revolves around doing my damnest to make the best possible meat. Safely and efficiently aging meat in the steak locker has been wonderful for me. Hi... ghly recommend.

Had the Pro Model since 2019 and have only had one issue. It froze up one night after a power surge. Called support, fixed it and all good.
Still have not been able to connect the app / sensor to the fridge. Use your own sensor / timing and the fridge is great
