Easy Steak Sauce to Make at Home

Here's a simple and delicious steak sauce recipe that you can make at home:

Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup ketchup

- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (adjust to taste)

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- Pinch of salt (if needed)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients: ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  1. Cook the sauce over low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the ingredients are well combined, and the sauce begins to thicken slightly. This usually takes around 5-7 minutes.
  1. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning to your preference. If you want it sweeter, add more brown sugar; if you prefer it saltier, add a pinch of salt.
  1. Once the sauce has reached your desired consistency and flavor, remove it from the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.
  1. Transfer the sauce to a jar or airtight container, and it's ready to serve!

This homemade steak sauce goes wonderfully with grilled or pan-seared steaks, burgers, and other grilled meats. You can store any leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Feel free to customize the recipe to your liking by adding other ingredients like hot sauce, balsamic vinegar, or minced onions for extra flavor and texture. Enjoy!
